- Progress over town centre improvements

We are pleased to report that new lighting columns have been installed in Railway Street, free parking has been resumed in Stephenson Street and that discussions are ongoing with local Councillors and Council officers regarding further improvements to the town centre, such as pedestrianisation of the lower end of Bedford Street and new street furniture.
